This is the official trailer to the horror movie "The Strangers". This movie is a budget movie that is based on true events that happened in America. I like this trailer because the cuts start off slow and speed up as the trailer progresses. This is the same with the audio where it is quiet to begin with and gets louder as the trailer progresses. Having seen the movie, the trailer shows some of the main parts of the movie which is the main purpose of the trailer. Like the movie, the trailer leads the audience to believe that the people are safe, however, something unexpected happens and shocks/scares the audience.
